Indications:

It is used to treat various cancer pain and post-operative pain.

Usage and dosage:
The intramuscular dose is 1 to 2mg and can be repeated every 3 to 4 hours if needed. There is no sufficient clinical data to recommend a single dose of more than 4mg. Or as prescribed by a doctor.

 

Medication for special population:

1. Use with caution for patients who repeatedly use narcotic painkillers and are tolerant to opioids.

2. Use with caution or not in patients with brain damage and elevated intracranial pressure.

3. The interval of the initial dose for patients with liver and kidney disease should be extended to 6-8 hours until the response is good, and the subsequent dose should be adjusted with the patient's response rather than fixed according to the administration schedule.

4. Use with caution in patients with myocardial infarction, ventricular dysfunction, and coronary artery insufficiency. When hypertension occurs, the drug should be stopped immediately.

5. This product can cause respiratory depression, especially in patients who take stimulant CNS drugs at the same time or suffer from CNS diseases or respiratory defects. Use with caution.

6. Do not drink alcohol when taking this product.

The potential of physical dependence after short-term administration of this product in rodents is lower than that after morphine analgesidine, but according to recent reports, long-term, frequent and large-scale use of butorfanol tartrate in both animals and humans can also lead to physical dependence and abuse.
