This product is white powder or white like loose mass or powder odorless, bitter taste, very wet


Indications:
This product is suitable for moderate to severe infections caused by bacteria that are resistant to piperacillin but sensitive to piperacillin/tazobactam that produce beta-lactamase:
1. Appendicitis (with perforation or abscess) and peritonitis caused by peracillin-resistant, beta-lactamase producing Escherichia coli and Bacteroides (Bacteroides fragile, ovoides, polyformis, or Bacteroides common).
2. Uncomplicated and complex skin and soft tissue infections caused by piperacillin-resistant, beta-lactamase-producing Staphylococcus aureus, including cellulitis, skin abscesses, ischemic or diabetic foot infections.
3. Postpartum endometritis or pelvic inflammatory disease caused by peracillin-resistant, beta-lactamase-producing Escherichia coli.
4. Community-acquired pneumonia caused by piperacillin-resistant, beta-lactamase-producing Haemophilus influenzae (moderate only).
5. Moderate to severe hospital-acquired pneumonia (nosocomial pneumonia) caused by piperacillin-resistant, beta-lactamase-producing Staphylococcus aureus.


Adverse reactions:
1. Common adverse reactions of this product are:
1) Skin reaction: such as rash, itching, etc.
2) Digestive reactions: such as diarrhea, nausea, vomiting, etc.;
3) Allergic reaction;
4) Local reaction: such as injection of local irritation reaction, pain, phlebitis, thrombophlebitis and edema.
5) Other reactions: such as thrombocytopenia, pancreatitis, fever, fever with eosinophilia, diarrhea or elevated aminotransferase. These reactions occur in combination with aminoglycosides.
2. In addition, the following adverse reactions can be seen:
1) Diarrhea, constipation, nausea, vomiting, abdominal pain, indigestion, etc.;
2) maculopapules, herpes, urticaria, eczema, pruritus, etc.;
3) Irritability, dizziness, anxiety, etc.;
4) Other reactions: such as rhinitis, dyspnea, etc.

Pharmacology and toxicology:

This product is a compound preparation composed of piperacillin sodium and tazobactam sodium. Piperacillin is a broad spectrum semi-synthetic penicillin antibiotic and tazobactam is a β-lactamase inhibitor.
This product has antibacterial action against piperacillin sensitive bacteria and the following bacteria that produce beta-lactamase resistant to piperacillin:
Gram-negative bacteria:
Most plasmid-mediated production and non-production of beta-lactamase in the following bacteria: E. coli, Klebsiella SPP. (Klebsiella oxytocica, Klebsiella pneumoniae), Proteus SPP. (Proteus Mirabilis, Proteus vulgaris), Salmonella SPP., Shigella SPP., Neisseria gonorrhoea, Diplococcus meningitidis, Mogenella SPP., Haemophilus SPP. (Haemophilus influenzae and Haemophilus Parainfluenzae), Pasteurella multocida, Yersinia SPP., Campylobacter SPP., Vaginae Gartner bacteria.
Chromosome-mediated β-lactamase producing and non-producing bacteria are as follows: Sphaeria flavi, Sphaeria isoglycogenes, Prudencia, Mogenobacter, Serratia (Serratia marcescens, Serratia hydrolica), Pseudomonas aeruginosa and other pseudomonas (Pseudomonas ceponiae, Pseudomonas fluorescens), Pseudomonas maltophil, Acinetobacter.
Gram-positive bacteria:
The following bacteria produce and do not produce beta-lactamase: Streptococcus (Streptococcus pneumoniae, Streptococcus pyogenes, Streptococcus Bovis, Streptococcus agalactis, Streptococcus viridis, Group C and Group G Streptococcus), Enterococcus (Enterococcus faecalis, Enterococcus faecium), Staphylococcus aureus (excluding MRSA), Staphylococcus saprophyticus, Staphylococcus epidermidis (coagulase negative staphylococcus), Corynebacterium, Listeria monocytogenes Nocardia L.
Anaerobic bacteria:
The following bacteria produce and do not produce beta-lactamase: Bacteroides (bifiloides, Bifiloides, Pilomoides, Melanogenes, Oral Bacteroides), Fragiloides (Fragiloides, Common Bacteroides, Ovaroid Bacteroides, Polyformis Bacteroides, Monoformis Bacteroides, Saccharomycoides), Peptostreptococcus, Clostridium difficile (Clostridium difficile, Perfringens Bacillus), Veillonella, Actinomycoides Fungus.
