Usage and dosage:

Common dose for adults: slow intravenous infusion, intravenous infusion or intramuscular injection, 0.5 ~ 1g a time, 2 ~ 4 times a day, severe infection can be increased to 6g a day, divided into 2 ~ 4 intravenous administration. Common dosage for children: 50 ~ 100mg/kg per day, divided into 2 ~ 3 slow intravenous infusion, intravenous infusion or intramuscular injection. Patients with renal dysfunction whose creatinine clearance is greater than 50ml/ hour can still be administered at normal doses. Creatinine clearance rate was 20-50 ml/ hour, 0.5g every 8 hours; Creatinine clearance was 11-34ml/hour, 0.25g every 12 hours; Creatinine clearance is less than 10ml/ hour, 0.25g every 18 to 24 hours. Matters needing attention:

This product has a low incidence of adverse reactions.

1 The thrombophlebitis and intramuscular injection pain caused by intravenous injection were less and less severe than that of cephalothiophene.

2 The incidence of drug eruption was 1.1%, the incidence of increased eosinophils was 1.7%, and occasionally drug fever.

3 Individual patients may have temporary elevated serum aminotransferase and alkaline phosphatase.

4 Patients with renal dysfunction may experience encephalopathy when taking high doses (12g daily) of this product.

5 Double infection of Candida albicans is rare.

6 Use with caution if you are allergic to penicillin or allergic to it. 2 About 1% of patients on the drug may have direct and indirect Coombs test positive and urine sugar false positive reaction (copper sulfate method).
