Ibuprofen & Paracetamol Tablets 200 mg + 325 mg
Composition:
Each tablet contains:
- Ibuprofen ......… 200 mg
- Paracetamol (Acetaminophen) ......… 325 mg
Description:
This combination of Ibuprofen (NSAID) and Paracetamol (analgesic/antipyretic) provides enhanced pain relief and fever reduction by targeting multiple pain pathways. Ibuprofen reduces inflammation, swelling, and pain, while Paracetamol works on the central nervous system to reduce fever and enhance analgesic effects.
Indications:
- Mild to moderate pain relief, including:
- Headache
- Dental pain
- Musculoskeletal pain
- Menstrual pain
- Postoperative pain
- Fever reduction
- Pain and inflammation associated with arthritis, sprains, and injuries
Dosage & Administration:
For Oral Use Only.
Adults & Children (≥12 years):
- 1 tablet every 6-8 hours as needed
- Maximum: 3 tablets per day
- Do not exceed 3 days for fever or 5 days for pain without medical advice
Children (<12 years):
- Not recommended unless prescribed by a physician
Administration:
- Take with food or milk to reduce stomach irritation
- Swallow with a full glass of water
- Do not crush or chew the tablet
Contraindications:
- Hypersensitivity to Ibuprofen, Paracetamol, or NSAIDs
- History of gastrointestinal bleeding, ulcers, or perforation
- Severe liver or kidney impairment
- Aspirin-induced asthma or allergic reactions
- Severe heart failure
Warnings & Precautions:
- Risk of gastrointestinal bleeding and ulcers, especially in long-term use
- May increase the risk of cardiovascular events with prolonged use
- Hepatotoxicity risk if exceeding recommended Paracetamol dosage
- Avoid alcohol consumption (may increase liver toxicity)
- Use caution in elderly patients and those with hypertension, kidney disease, or asthma
Adverse Reactions:
- Common: Nausea, stomach pain, dizziness, headache
- Serious: Gastrointestinal bleeding, liver toxicity, kidney impairment, allergic reactions
Drug Interactions:
