Character:
This product is a colorless clear liquid.

Indications:
Regulates body fluids, electrolytes and acid-base balance. For cases of metabolic acidosis or dehydration with a tendency to metabolic acidosis.

Matters needing attention
The following situations should be used with caution:
1. Diabetic patients taking biguanides (especially hypoglycin), hinder the liver's use of lactic acid, easy to cause lactic acid poisoning;
2. Edema patients with sodium retention tendency;
3. Hypertension patients can increase blood pressure;
4. Cardiac insufficiency;
5. In the case of hepatic insufficiency, the rate of lactic acid degradation slows down, thus delaying the correction of acidosis.
6. Hypoxia and shock, insufficient tissue blood supply and hypoxia slow down the metabolism rate of lactic acid oxidation to cupronic acid into tricarboxylic acid cycle, so as to delay the correction speed of acidosis;
Seven. Lactic acidosis tends to occur in alcoholism, salicylic acid poisoning and type I glycogen deposition disease. It is not appropriate to use sodium lactate to correct the acid-base balance.
8. Acetoacetic acid, β-hydroxybutyric acid and lactic acid are increased in diabetic copper acidosis, which is often accompanied by poor circulation or insufficient blood supply of organs, and the degradation rate of lactic acid is slowed down.
9. Renal insufficiency, prone to water and sodium retention, increase cardiovascular load.
The following situations should be prohibited:
1. Heart failure and acute pulmonary edema;
2. Cerebral edema;
3. When lactic acidosis is obvious;
4. Severe liver insufficiency;
5. Severe renal failure with oliguria or anuria.
The following tests and observations should be made when taking drugs:
1. Blood pH and/or carbon dioxide binding force;
2. Blood hydrogen concentration of Na+, K+, Ca2+, Cl- determination;
3. Determination of renal function, including blood muscle liver, urea nitrogen, etc.
4. Blood Pressure;
5. Cardiopulmonary function status, such as edema, shortness of breath, cyanosis, pulmonary rale, jugular filling, hepato-jugular reflux, etc., venous pressure or central venous pressure measurement as needed;
6. Hepatic insufficiency shows jaundice, altered consciousness, ascites, etc., which is often observed at any time before and during the application of sodium lactate

Drug overdose:
Excess may result in edema or loss of balance of ions in the body.

Pharmacology and toxicology:
Under normal circumstances, the human body also has a small amount of lactic acid in the blood, mainly generated from glucose or glycogen glycolysis, from muscle, skin, brain and cells, etc. After lactic acid is generated, it is converted into glycogen or procupronic acid, or enters the tricarboxylic acid cycle and is decomposed into water and carbon dioxide, so the final metabolite of sodium lactate is sodium bicarbonate, which can correct metabolic acidosis. When hyperkalemia is accompanied by acidosis, sodium lactate can correct the acidosis and allow potassium ions to enter the cell from the blood and extracellular fluid. The main organs of lactic acid degradation are liver and kidney. When lactic acid metabolism in the body is abnormal or obstructed, the curative effect is not good.
