• Olanzapine Orally Disintegrating Tablets (ODT) are a formulation of olanzapine, an atypical antipsychotic medication used in the treatment of schizophrenia, bipolar disorder, and other psychiatric conditions. Unlike conventional tablets, ODTs are designed to dissolve rapidly in the mouth without the need for water, offering convenience and ease of administration, particularly for patients who have difficulty swallowing or are non-compliant with oral medications.

Indications:
 

 

• Schizophrenia: Olanzapine ODTs are indicated for the treatment of schizophrenia, a chronic psychiatric disorder characterized by disturbances in perception, cognition, and behavior. Olanzapine helps alleviate symptoms such as hallucinations, delusions, disorganized thinking, and negative symptoms.

• Bipolar Disorder: Additionally, olanzapine is used in combination with other medications for the acute treatment of manic or mixed episodes associated with bipolar disorder, as well as for maintenance therapy to prevent recurrence of mood episodes.
