Matters needing attention
1. Use with caution in patients with renal insufficiency and severe liver insufficiency.
2. The influence of drugs on diagnosis: omeprazole can inhibit the secretion of gastric acid, increase the pH value in the stomach, and make the G cells in the gastric mucosa secrete gastrin in response, thus increasing the level of gastrin in the blood; Omeprazole can cause false negative results of 13C-urea breath test (UBT), the mechanism may be that omeprazole has direct or indirect inhibitory effect on Helicobacter pylori (Hp). The 13C-urea breath test should be performed at least 4 weeks after omeprazole treatment.
3. Items that should be checked or monitored before and after medication and during medication: Efficacy monitoring.
