Indications:
It is suitable for acute, chronic cerebrovascular disease, brain trauma, various toxic encephalopathy and other causes of memory loss and mild to moderate brain dysfunction. It is also used in children with mental retardation.

Matters needing attention:
1. Due to its effect on platelet aggregation, piracetam should be used with caution in patients with severe bleeding or at risk of bleeding, such as peptic ulcers, underlying clotting disorders, a history of hemorrhagic cerebrovascular disease, major surgery (including dental surgery), and the use of anticoagulants or antiplatelet aggregation medications (including low-dose aspirin).
2. Renal function impairment. Because piracetam is excreted through the kidney, people with mild and moderate renal dysfunction should use it with caution and appropriately reduce the dose. It is contraindosed in patients with severe renal impairment.
3. Elderly people with long-term use should regularly monitor renal function and adjust dosage if necessary.

Pharmacology and toxicology:

It has no effect on blood, heart, liver, kidney, brain and other important internal organs and functions.
