Matters needing attention:
1. Patients with a history of allergic reaction to cephalosporins, penicillins and other drugs should be asked in detail before the application of this product. Patients with a history of anaphylactic shock with penicillins should not use this product. When using this product, other patients must pay attention to the possibility of cross-allergic reaction between cephalosporins and penicillins, which should be used with caution under close observation. If an allergic reaction occurs, discontinue the medication immediately. In case of anaphylactic shock, immediate immediate rescue, including maintaining airway patency, oxygen inhalation, adrenalin, glucocorticoids and other measures.
2. Patients with a history of gastrointestinal disease, especially ulcerative colitis, conjunctivitis, or antibiotic-associated colitis (cephalosporins rarely produce pseudomemonitis), and patients with renal dysfunction should use this product with care.
3. Positive reaction of direct Coombs test and false positive reaction of urine sugar (cupric sulfate method) can occur when cefadoxialexin is applied. In a few patients, alkaline phosphatase, serum alanine transferase, aspartate amino acid transferase and alkaline phosphatase may be temporarily elevated.
4. Cefadoxialexin is mainly excreted through the kidney, and the use of this product should be reduced appropriately in patients with renal dysfunction.
5. When the daily oral dose exceeds 4g, cephalosporins for injection should be considered.
