1. This product is the first choice or drug of choice for the following diseases: (1) Rickettsial disease, including epidemic typhus, endemic typhus, Rocky Mountain fever, tsutsugamushi and Q fever. (2) Mycoplasma infection. (3) Chlamydia infections, including psittacosis, venereal diseases, lymphosarcodontia, non-specific urethritis, salpingitis, cervicitis and trachoma. (4) Relapsing fever. (5) Brucellosis. (6) Cholera. (7) Tularemia. (8) Plague. (9) Soft chancre. The treatment of brucellosis and plague should be combined with aminoglycosides. 2. Due to the serious resistance of the common pathogens to tetracycline, only when the pathogenic bacteria are sensitive to this product, there is an indication to choose this drug. Because hemolytic streptococcus is resistant to this product, it is not suitable for the treatment of infection caused by this type of bacteria. It is also not recommended for the treatment of hemolytic streptococcal infections and staphylococcal infections of any type. 3. This product can be used for patients with penicillin-allergic tetanus, gas gangrene, yaz, syphilis, gonorrhea and leptospirosis, as well as actinomyces and listeria monocytogenes infection.
1. Cross-allergic reactions: Cross-allergic reactions can occur between various tetracycline drugs.
2. Interference with diagnosis:
(1) When determining the concentration of urinary catecholamine (Hingerty method), the result can be high due to the interference of tetracycline on fluorescence.
(2) This product can increase the determination values of alkaline phosphatase, blood urea nitrogen, serum amylase, serum bilirubin, serum aminotransferase (AST, ALT).
3. During long-term drug use, regular follow-up should be conducted to check blood routine and liver and kidney function.
4. When using this product, drink enough water (about 240ml) to avoid esophageal ulcers and reduce gastrointestinal irritation symptoms.
5. This product should be taken orally on an empty stomach, that is, 1 hour before or 2 hours after a meal to avoid the influence of food on absorption.
6. This product should be used with caution or avoided under the following conditions:
(1) Because this product can cause liver damage, so the original liver disease should not use such drugs.
(2) Since this product can aggravate azotemia, it is not appropriate to use this drug if there is kidney function impairment. If there are indications, it should be carefully considered, and the application should be reduced according to the degree of kidney function impairment.
Seven. In the treatment of venereal diseases, if it is suspected that there is a combination of spirochete infection, dark field microscopy and serological examination must be performed before medication, the latter once a month, at least 4 times.
