This product is a capsule, the content is light yellow to yellow pellets.
1. As one of the drugs of choice, this product can be used for the following diseases:
(1) Rickettsial diseases, such as epidemic typhus, endemic typhus, Rocky mountain fever, tsutsugamushi and Q fever.
(2) Mycoplasma infection.
(3) Chlamydia infections, including psittacosis, venereal diseases, lymphogranuloma, non-specific urethritis, salpingitis, cervicitis and trachoma.
(4) Relapsing fever.
(5) Brucellosis.
(6) Cholera.
(7) Tularemia.
(8) Plague.
(9) Soft chancre.
The treatment of brucellosis and plague should be combined with aminoglycosides.
2. Due to the serious resistance of the common pathogens to tetracycline, only when the pathogenic bacteria are sensitive to this product, there is an indication of application. Most staphylococci are resistant to this product.
3. This product can be used in patients allergic to penicillins for tetanus, gas gangrene, yaws, syphilis, gonorrhea and leptospirosis, as well as actinomyces and listeria infections.
4. It can be used as an adjunct therapy for patients with moderate and severe acne.
Usage and dosage:
Take orally
Antibacterial and anti-parasitic infections: Adults, 100mg once every 12 hours on the first day, 100 to 200mg once a day, or 50 to 100mg once every 12 hours.
Neisseria gonorrhoeae urethritis and cervicitis: 100mg once every 12 hours. Seven days in total.
Non-gonorrhoeic urethritis, caused by Chlamydia trachomatis or ureaplasma urealyticum, and simple urethritis, cervicitis, or rectal infection caused by Chlamydia trachomatis: 100mg once, twice a day, for at least 7 days.
Syphilis: 150mg once every 12 hours for at least 10 days. For children over 8 years of age, the first day is 2.2mg/kg weight, once every 12 hours, and then the second day is 2.2 to 4.4mg/kg weight, once a day, or 2.2mg/kg weight, once every 12 hours. The dosage for children weighing more than 45kg is the same as for adults.
Matters needing attention:
1. Overpropagation of resistant bacteria may occur when this product is used. In case of double infection, discontinue the product and treat accordingly.
2. In the treatment of venereal diseases, if suspected of concurrent infection with treponema pallidum, dark field microscopy and serological examination must be performed before medication, the latter once a month, at least 4 times.
3. Long-term medication should be followed up regularly to check blood routine and liver function.
4. This product can be used in patients with renal dysfunction without dose adjustment and usually does not cause an increase in blood urea nitrogen.
5. This product can be taken with food, milk or carbonate-containing beverages.
