It is used for sepsis, lower respiratory tract infection, abdominal and biliary tract infection, complex urinary tract infection and severe skin and soft tissue infection caused by sensitive gram-negative bacilli. This is particularly applicable to infections of immunocompromised persons caused by multiple drug-resistant gram-negative bacilli, nosocomial infections, and central nervous system infections caused by gram-negative bacilli or Pseudomonas aeruginosa.

Although there have been no reports of problems with the use of cephalosporins in pregnant and lactating women, the pros and cons of its use still need to be weighed.
Notes for the elderly:
The dosage of elderly patients over 65 years old can be reduced to 2/3 ~ 1/2 of the normal dose, and the highest dose is not more than 3g a day.
