Character:
This product is colorless clear liquid; Tastes slightly salty.

Indications:
Water loss due to various reasons, including hypotonic, isotonic and hypertonic water loss; Hypertonic nonketotic diabetic coma, isotonic or hypotonic sodium chloride can correct the water loss and hypertonic state; Hypochloric metabolic alkalosis; External use of normal saline to wash eyes, wash wounds, etc. It is also used for water sac induction in obstetrics.

Matters needing attention
1. Use with caution in the following cases:
(1) edematous diseases, such as nephrotic syndrome, cirrhosis ascites, congestive heart failure, acute left heart failure, brain edema and idiopathic edema;
(2) acute renal failure oliguria phase, chronic renal failure reduced urine volume and poor response to diuretic drugs;
(3) hypertension;
(4) hypokalemia.
2. Check the concentration of sodium, potassium and chloride ions in serum according to clinical needs; Blood acid-base balance index, renal function, blood pressure and cardiopulmonary function.
For pregnant and lactating women

Adverse reactions:
1. Too much and too fast infusion can cause water and sodium retention, causing edema, elevated blood pressure, rapid heart rate, chest tightness, dyspnea, and even acute left heart failure.
2. Too much or too fast hypotonic sodium chloride can cause hemolysis and brain edema.

Pharmacology and toxicology:
Sodium chloride is an electrolyte supplement. Sodium and chlorine are important electrolytes in the body, mainly in the extracellular fluid, and play a very important role in maintaining normal blood and extracellular fluid volume and osmotic pressure. The normal serum sodium concentration is 135-145mmol /L, accounting for 92% of the plasma cation and 90% of the total osmotic pressure, so the plasma sodium content plays a decisive role in the osmotic pressure. The normal serum chlorine concentration is 98 ~ 106mmol/L, and the sodium and chloride ions in human body are mainly regulated by the hypothalamus, posterior pituitary and kidney to maintain the stability of body fluid volume and osmotic pressure.
