This product is a colorless clear liquid.

Indications:

Antiviral drug. For viral pneumonia and bronchitis caused by respiratory syncytial virus.
 

Usage and dosage:

Dilute sodium chloride injection or 5% glucose injection into a solution containing 1mg per 1ml and slowly infuse it intravenously.

Adults 0.5g (5 pills) once, 2 times a day, children according to the weight of 10 to 15mg/kg a day, divided into 2 times. Each infusion is more than 20 minutes, the course of treatment is 3 to 7 days.

Matters needing attention:

1. Use with caution in patients with severe anemia and abnormal liver function.

2. Interference with diagnosis: The increase of blood bilirubin after oral administration can be as high as 25%. Large doses can cause hemoglobin decline.

3. Take medication early. Respiratory syncytial virus pneumonia within the first 3 days of administration is generally effective. This product should not be used in patients with unlaboratory-confirmed respiratory syncytial virus infection.

4. Long term or large dose administration has adverse reactions to liver function and blood image.

5. This product has a strong teratogenic effect, and the daily dose of 1mg/kg in rabbits can cause embryo damage, so it is prohibited for pregnant women and women who may become pregnant (this product is very slow to eliminate in the body, and can not be completely cleared in the body 4 weeks after withdrawal).

6. A small amount of the drug is excreted by the milk, and it is toxic to both mother and child animals, so lactating women should stop breastfeeding during the drug period, and the milk should be discarded. Because respiratory syncytial virus infection in lactating women is self-limited, this product is not used in such cases.
