This product is colorless to slightly yellow clear liquid.
1 for the prevention and treatment of scurvy, can also be used for a variety of acute and chronic infectious diseases and purpura and other auxiliary treatment.
2. Treatment of chronic iron poisoning: Vitamin C promotes the integration of iron with deferriamine and accelerates iron excretion.
3. Treatment of idiopathic methemoglobin disease.
4. When Keshan patients have cardiogenic shock, large dose of this product can be used for treatment.
5. Increased vitamin C requirements in the following situations:
(1) Patients receiving chronic hemodialysis, gastrointestinal diseases (long-term diarrhea, after gastric or ileal resection), AIDS, tuberculosis, cancer, ulcer disease, hyperthyroidism, fever, infection, trauma, burns, after surgery, etc.;
(2) Patients who receive parenteral nutrition due to strict control or choice of diet, malnutrition, weight loss, and during pregnancy and lactation;
(3) When barbiturates, tetracyclines, salicylic acids, or vitamin C are used as urinary acidifying drugs.
Usage and dosage:
Intravenous injection, 0.5 to 1.0g(0.5 to 1) at a time, or as directed by a doctor. For immediate use, dilute 5% or 10% glucose injection by drip.
Keshan disease cardiogenic shock: The first dose of 5 ~ 10g (5 ~ 10 doses) was added into 25% glucose injection and injected intravenously slowly.
Matters needing attention:
1. The role of vitamin C in the prevention or treatment of cancer, gingivitis, pus, bleeding, hematuria, retinal hemorrhage, depression, dental caries, anemia, acne, infertility, aging, arteriosclerosis, ulcer disease, tuberculosis, dysentery, collagen diseases, bone fractures, skin ulcers, hay-fever, drug poisoning, vascular embolism, colds, etc.
2. Interference with diagnosis. High doses will affect the results of the following diagnostic tests:
(1) fecal occult blood can cause false positives;
(2) Can interfere with the concentration of serum lactate dehydrogenase and serum aminotransferase automatic analysis results;
(3) Both urine sugar (copper sulfate method) and glucose (oxidase method) can cause false positives;
(4) The concentration of cysteine, urate and urate increased;
(5) Serum bilirubin concentration increased;
(6) Urine pH decreased.
