Description

Indications

Amoxicillin is a broad-spectrum antibiotic used to treat infections caused by susceptible bacteria, including:

• Upper respiratory tract infections (e.g., sinusitis, tonsillitis)

• Lower respiratory tract infections (e.g., bronchitis, pneumonia)

• Urinary tract infections (e.g., cystitis, urethritis)

• Skin and soft tissue infections

• Ear infections (e.g., otitis media)

 

Dosage and Administration

• Adults and children weighing ≥40kg: 1-2 sachets per dose, 3 times daily, or as directed by a physician.

• Children weighing <40kg: 20-40mg/kg body weight per day, divided into 3 doses, or as directed by a physician.

• Administration: Mix the granules with a small amount of warm water and stir well before taking.

 

Side Effects
