Indications:

This product is used for the treatment of the following infections caused by specific microbial sensitive strains: Vancomycin-resistant Enterococcus faecium infections, hospital-acquired pneumonia, complex skin and skin soft tissue infections, uncomplicated skin and skin soft tissue infections, community-acquired pneumonia and associated bacteremia specification.

Usage and dosage:
Complex skin and skin soft tissue infections, community-acquired pneumonia and associated bacteremia, nosocomial pneumonia, 10mg/kg intravenous or oral injection every 8 hours in children under 11 years of age, 600mg intravenous or oral injection every 12 hours in adults for 10-14 days, vancomycin-resistant enterococcus faecium infection and associated bacteremia, For children under 11 years of age, 10mg/kg intravenous or oral injection every 8 hours, for adults, 600mg intravenous or oral injection every 12 hours for 14-28 days, pure skin and skin soft tissue infections.

 

Medication for special population:

To reduce bacterial resistance and maintain the efficacy of linezolid and other antimicrobials, linezolid should be used only for the treatment or prevention of infections caused by confirmed or highly suspected susceptible bacteria. When the results of bacterial culture and drug sensitivity are known, the selection or adjustment of antimicrobial therapy should be considered. In the absence of such data, local epidemiology and drug sensitivity may favour the choice of empiric treatment. The indication for linezolid does not include the treatment of gram-negative bacteria, and targeted treatment should be initiated immediately if a Gram-negative infection is suspected or confirmed.
