This product is white powder or freeze-dried lump.
This product is suitable for infection caused by methicillin-resistant Staphylococcus aureus and other bacteria: sepsis, infective endocarditis, osteomyelitis, arthritis, burn, surgical trauma and other superficial secondary infection, pneumonia, lung abscess, empyema, peritonitis, meningitis.
Usage and dosage:
Vancomycin hydrochloride is usually used for 2g per day (titer), which can be divided into 500mg every 6 hours or 1g every 12 hours, each time for more than 60 minutes, and can be increased or decreased according to age, weight and symptoms. For the elderly, 500mg every 12 hours or 1g every 24 hours for more than 60 minutes. Children and infants 40mg/kg per day, divided into 2-4 times, each time for more than 60 minutes. The dosage for newborns is 10-15mg/kg each time, every 12 hours for newborns within one week of birth, every 8 hours for newborns from one week to one month of birth, and each drip is more than 60 minutes.
The preparation method is to dissolve 10mL of water for injection into a vial containing 0.5g of this product, dilute it with at least 100mL of normal saline or 5% glucose injection, and drop for more than 60 minutes.
