Main ingredient
The main component of this product is creatine phosphate disodium salt tetrahydrate. This product has no auxiliary materials.
Chemical name: N-[imino (phosphine amino) methyl] -n-methylglycine disodium salt tetrahydrate.

Character
This product is white powder or crystalline powder.

Indication
Cardioplegia is added to the cardioplegia solution during cardiac surgery to protect the abnormal myocardial metabolism in the condition of myocardial ischemia.

Strength
1g (according to C4H8N3O5PNa2)

Matters needing attention
Rapid intravenous administration of more than 1g of sodium creatine phosphate may cause a drop in blood pressure.
Large doses (5 to 10g/ day) cause large phosphate intake, which may affect calcium metabolism and the secretion of hormones regulating homeostasis, and affect purine metabolism of renal function.
The above large doses should be used with caution and only for short-term use.
Compatibility taboo: None.
Effects on driving and operating machinery: None.

Pharmacology and toxicology

Pharmacological action
Creatine phosphate plays an important role in energy metabolism during muscle contraction. It is a chemical energy reserve for cardiac and skeletal muscles and is used for the resynthesis of ATP, the hydrolysis of which provides energy for the actomyosin contraction process.
Insufficient energy supply caused by slow oxidative metabolism is an important factor in the formation and development of myocardial cell injury. Insufficient phosphocreatine level has important clinical significance in the injury of myocardial contractility and functional recovery ability. In fact, during myocardial injury, there is a close relationship between the amount of intracellular high energy phosphate compounds and the cell's ability to survive and recover systolic function. Therefore, maintaining the level of high energy phosphate compounds has become the basic principle of various methods to limit myocardial damage, and also the basis of cardiometabolic protection.
Animal studies and human cardiac arrest studies have shown the role of sodium creatine phosphate and its potential to protect myocardium.
Pharmacological tests showed that;
Pre-intramuscular injection of sodium creatine phosphate has a dose-dependent protective effect on various myocardial diseases caused by isoproterenol (rats and pigeons), thyroxine (rats), ipecine (guinea pigs), P-nitrophenol (rats), labor (rats) and other causes.
• Creatine phosphate exerts positive inotropic effects on the hearts of isolated frogs, rats and guinea pigs and on the auriculus of guinea pigs.
Sodium creatine phosphate can antagonize the negative inotropic effect of hypoxia on the isolated guinea pig atrium.
• Adding sodium creatine phosphate to cardioplegia enhanced myocardial protection in both in vivo and in vitro models.
• Creatine phosphate sodium provides protection against experimental myocardial infarction and arrhythmias caused by coronary artery obstruction.
The myocardial protective function of sodium creatine phosphate is related to the following effects: stabilizing muscle fiber membrane; The level of adenine nucleotide in the cell was maintained by inhibiting nucleotideolytic enzyme, and the phospholipid degradation in ischemic myocardium was inhibited. The microcirculation of ischemic sites is improved by inhibiting ADP-induced platelet aggregation
Toxic effect
Animal studies have shown no potential toxicity in both short - and long-term treatment with creatine phosphate.
Creatine phosphate sodium has no teratogenic effect.

Storage
