This product is suitable for the following bacterial infectious diseases introduced by cefixime sensitive Streptococcus (except Enterococcus), pneumococcus, gonococcus, catarranococcus, Escherichia coli, Klebsiella, Serratia, Proteus and influenzae:
1. Bronchitis, bronchiectasis (when infected), secondary infection of chronic respiratory system infection, pneumonia;
2, pyelonephritis, cystitis, gonococcal urethritis;
3, cholecystitis, cholangitis;
4. Scarlet fever;
5. Otitis media and paranasal sinusitis.
Usage and dosage:
Dosage for adults and children weighing more than 30 kg: orally, 0.1g (1 capsule) twice a day; In addition, it can be increased or decreased appropriately according to age, weight and symptoms. For severe patients, 0.2g (2 capsules) can be taken twice a day.
1. Due to the possibility of shock, a full medical history should be taken before administration.
2. In order to prevent the emergence of drug-resistant strains, sensitivity should be confirmed in principle before using this product, and the dose should be controlled at the minimum dose required for disease control.
3. For patients with severe renal dysfunction, the drug concentration can be maintained in the blood, so the dosage should be appropriately reduced according to the status of renal function, and the dosage interval should be appropriately increased. (see [pharmacokinetic data]].
4. Careful administration of drugs in the following patients:
(1) Patients with a history of allergy to penicillins;
(2) Patients who have bronchial asthma, rash, urticaria and other allergic symptoms easily caused by themselves or their parents or brothers.
(3) Patients with severe renal dysfunction (refer to [pharmacokinetic data]).
(4) Patients with difficulty in oral administration or non-oral intake of nutrition, patients with systemic dysphoria (due to symptoms of vitamin K deficiency, attention should be paid).
5. Influence on clinical test results:
(1) The possibility of false positive should be paid attention to in the urine sugar examination by Patel's Benedict reagent, Fehling's reagent and Clinitest.
(2) The possibility of false positive in direct Coombs test should be paid attention to.
6. Do not mix milk and juice with medicine.
7. Others:
In the experiment of young rats, oral administration of more than 1000mg/kg can inhibit spermatogenesis.
Medication for special population:
No evidence of damage to fetal mice was found in reproductive tests when the dose was 400 times that of rats and mice.
The safety of pregnancy medication has not been determined, so the pros and cons of medication for pregnant women or women who are at risk of becoming pregnant should be weighed, and medication should be used only when the benefits outweigh the risks.
The effects of cefixime on childbirth have not been studied and should only be used when it is clearly needed.
Whether cefixime is excreted through human milk is unknown. Suspension of lactation should be considered when using this product.
