Character:
This product is white powder or crystalline powder.

Indications:
This product is only suitable for the treatment of penicillinase staphylococcus infections, including sepsis, endocarditis, pneumonia and skin and soft tissue infections. It can also be used for mixed infections caused by Streptococcus pyogenes or pneumococcus and penicillin-resistant Staphylococcus.

Adverse reactions:
1. Allergic reactions: urticaria and other rashes are common, leukopenia, interstitial nephritis, asthma attacks and serological reactions are rare; Anaphylactic shock is rare, once it occurs, it must be rescued on the spot, to keep the airway open, oxygen inhalation and use epinephrine, glucocorticoid and other treatment measures.
2. Intravenous use of this product may produce nausea, vomiting, and elevated serum aminotransferase.
3. Large dose intravenous infusion of this product can cause convulsions and other central nervous system toxicity.
4. Hematuria, proteinuria and uremia have been reported in infants using large doses of this product.

Pharmacology and toxicology:
This product is resistant to acid and penicillinase penicillin. Oxacillin has good antibacterial activity against penicillinase producing staphylococcus, but it has lower antibacterial activity against various streptococcus and staphylococcus without penicillinase producing staphylococcus than penicillin G. Oxacillin acts as a bactericidal agent by inhibiting cell wall synthesis.
