Indications:

Suitable for sensitive bacteria caused by respiratory tract infection, gastrointestinal infection, urinary tract infection, soft tissue infection, endocarditis, meningitis, septicemia and so on.

 

Usage and dosage:

1. Adults

(1) Intramuscular injection dose is 2 ~ 4g per day, divided into 4 times.

(2) Intravenous administration, the dose is 4 ~ 12g per day, divided into 2 ~ 4 times, the highest daily dose is 14g.

(3) Orally, 1 ~ 2g daily, divided into 4 times.

2. Children

(1) Intramuscular injection, the dose is 50 ~ 100mg/kg per day, divided into 4 times.

(2) Intravenous administration, the dose of 100 to 200mg/kg per day, divided into 2 to 4 times, the highest daily dose is 300mg/kg.

(3) Oral dose, 25mg/kg, 2 ~ 4 times a day.

3, newborns: term infants 12.5 ~ 50mg/kg each time; Once every 12 hours for the first 48 hours after birth; Every 8 hours for the 3rd to 2nd week and every 6 hours thereafter. Oral use is not recommended.

4. Patients with renal dysfunction and advanced renal failure: The half-life of ampicillin can be extended from 1.5 hours to 7 to 20 hours in normal people, so the administration interval of ampicillin should be extended to 6 to 12 hours and 12 to 16 hours, or 0.5g per day, when the glomerular filtration rate (GFR) is 10 to 15mL/min and less than 10 ml /min, respectively.

Medication for special population:

1, before the application of this product, please inquire about the history of drug allergy and carry out penicillin skin test.

2. Patients with infectious mononucleosis, cytomegalovirus infection, lymphocytic leukemia and lymphoma are prone to rash when applying this product, and should be avoided.

3. This product must be prepared fresh.

4, pregnant and lactating women: there is no strict controlled trial of the application of this product in pregnant women, so pregnant women should only use this product when necessary. A small amount of this product is secreted from the milk, and breastfeeding women should stop breastfeeding when using the drug.
