Indications:

Treatment of male erectile dysfunction. Sexual stimulation is required for this product to work. Tadalafil should not be used in women.
 

Usage and dosage:

Take orally

For adult males

The recommended dose of this product is 10mg, which is taken before sex and is not affected by eating. If 10mg is not effective, 20mg can be taken. It can be taken at least 30 minutes before sex.

The maximum dose frequency is once daily.

It is best not to take tadalafil continuously on a daily basis, as the safety of long-term use has not been established. At the same time, the effects of tadalafil often last longer than a day. (See the last paragraph of "Precautions" and "Pharmacology and Toxicology" for details)

For elderly men

Elderly people do not need to adjust the dose.

For men with renal insufficiency

Dose adjustment is not required in patients with mild to moderate renal insufficiency. For patients with severe renal insufficiency, the maximum recommended dose is 10mg. (See "Pharmacokinetics" for details)

For men with liver insufficiency

The recommended dose of this product is 10mg, which is taken before sex and is not affected by eating. There is limited clinical safety information regarding tadalafil in patients with severe hepatic insufficiency (Child-Pugh grade C); If such patients are prescribed, a careful benefit/risk assessment of each patient by the prescribing physician is required. For men with diabetes

Diabetics do not need to adjust the dose.

For children and teenagers

Persons under 18 years of age should not take this product.

Matters needing attention:

Before considering medication, a medical history and physical examination should be taken to diagnose erectile dysfunction and identify possible unknown causes.

Because the risk of cardiovascular disease is somewhat related to sexual behavior, physicians should consider cardiovascular health before treating men with erectile dysfunction, including tadalafil. Tadalafil causes a mild, temporary reduction in blood pressure due to its vasodilating properties (see "Pharmacotoxicology"), which may enhance the antihypertensive effects of nitrates (see "Contraindications").

Severe cardiovascular diseases, including myocardial infarction, unstable angina pectoris, ventricular arrhythmias, shock, and transient ischemic attacks, have been observed in clinical trials of Tadalafil. In addition, hypertension and hypotension (including postural hypotension) are occasionally seen in clinical trials. Most of the patients with these conditions had cardiovascular factors before taking the drug. However, it is not possible to determine whether these events are related to these risk factors.
