This product is colorless to slightly yellow clear liquid.
Aminophylline injection, the indication is suitable for bronchial asthma, chronic asthmatic bronchitis, chronic obstructive pulmonary disease and other wheezing symptoms; It can also be used for cardiac insufficiency and cardiogenic asthma.
Usage and dosage:
1. Normal dosage for adults: intravenous injection, 0.125 ~ 0.25g once, 0.5 ~ 1g a day, each 0.125 ~ 0.25g diluted with 50% glucose injection to 20 ~ 40ml, the injection time should not be less than 10 minutes. Intravenous infusion, 0.25 ~ 0.5g once, 0.5 ~ 1g a day, diluted with 5% ~ 10% glucose injection after slow infusion. The maximum dose is 0.5g once and 1g a day.
2. Usual dosage for children: intravenous injection, once according to body weight 2 ~ 4mg/kg, diluted with 5% ~ 25% glucose injection after slow injection.
Matters needing attention:
1. Serum theophylline concentrations should be monitored regularly to ensure maximum efficacy without the risk of excessive blood concentrations.
2. Patients with renal or liver dysfunction, over 55 years of age, especially men and patients with chronic lung disease, patients with heart dysfunction from any cause, patients with persistent fever. The maintenance time of serum theophylline concentration is often significantly prolonged in patients using certain drugs and in those with reduced theophylline clearance. The dosage should be adjusted or the interval should be extended as appropriate.
3. Theophylline may induce arrhythmia and/or aggravate the original arrhythmia; Any changes in the patient's heart rate and/or rhythm should be monitored.
